Child Assessment
APA believes a comprehensive assessment of all developmental areas is needed in order to determine appropriate diagnosis and treatment in children.  Assessment of cognitive, motor, self-help, social-emotional, and communication development is key to a complete evaluation.  Assessment of specific diagnoses includes: Autism Spectrum Disorders, ADHD, Learning Disabilities, and neuro-developmental delays.

Adult Assessment
APA provides a full array of evaluation services for adults.  Evaluation areas include mental health issues, traumatic brain injuries, substance abuse, and disability assessments.  In addition, pre-marital assessments that examine issues of compatibility and blended families are available.

School-based Assessment
APA provides complete psycho-educational evaluations for schools and parents in the East Valley.  Areas of assessment include Specific Learning Disabilities, Emotional Disabilities, Other Health Impairments, Mild/Moderate Mental Retardation, and Autism.

Dr. Jonna L. Krabbenhoft
Dr. Jonna L. KrabbenhoftDr. Jonna Krabbenhoft is a Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Certified School Psychologist.  She has practiced in a variety of settings including in-patient psychiatric care, outpatient, forensic, and schools.  Her varied experience and training has allowed her to develop a diverse assessment skill set.  Most recently, she has received advanced training in the area of Autism Spectrum Disorder assessment.

Dr. Krabbenhoft holds a Doctorate of Psychology in the area of Clinical Psychology (Argosy University/Arizona School of Professional Psychology).  In addition, she holds a Master’s Degree in Clinical Psychology (Argosy University) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mental Health and Human Services (Franciscan University).  She is a member of the American Psychological Association, Arizona Psychological Association, and the Arizona Association of School Psychologists.
